Bio

1981 I started out as a pianoplayer at the age of 5.

1988, at the age of 12 I realized electric guitar was way cooler, so it was an easy choice. About 5 months later I performed my first "gig".

Played with several local acts between 1990 and 1998 on both guitar and keyboard and bass. Everything from soft accoustic pop to death metal.

1997 I reunited with Engine No.9 (formerly known as Cerberos) which was a phenomenal band, hardcore grind metal,  but sadly never got to release anything. Left the band in 1999.

Nypon & Blylod released a self financed Ep 1999 and appeared on 2 compilations from Dwell Records in 2000 and signed a deal with Loud 'N Proud records. Disbanded in 2001.

1997 Joined Eternia which came to be quite successful in the local scene, and released 1 demo, 2 self financed Ep and 1 fullength album on Ufo Records and appeared on a few compilations. But we parted with the frontman and Ufo records in late 2003, and disbanded in 2004.

2005 Members from Eternia started a new band DestyNation, made 1 demo and then signed a deal with Sonic Age Records and released 1 fullength album. During this time I also made 1 demo with the band Sweden Shotgun and 1 Ep with progressive metal act Planet Storm.

2008 I left DestyNation, due to lack of time and interest, after finishing the recording of the 2.nd album, which sadly never was released.

2009 I released the album One week notice under the name Justaquickstop, recording everything by myself except for the vocals which was sung by the talented Daniel Söderberg.

6 months later the band lineup was complete and the music got heavier and the new name Blackrain came up. We released the album Into the black in 2011, at the same time I also produced and released my own solo album entitled Blylod - Serendipity.

2011-2012 Played at Rock clubs in Thailand together with musicians from Yngwie Malmsteen, Morgana Lefay and Mad Messiah.

2012 Back in Sweden. Broke up the band Blackrain. Reunited once again with Engine No.9 in december for a few gigs. Released a live recording shortly after.

2013 Recorded new material with my bandmates from ex Blackrain, and did some gigs with coverbands.

2014 Joined the forming of a new band Burn it to the ground, with Håkan Hemlin (Nordman), Owe Lingwall (Nocturnal Rites) and Jens Carlsson (Persuader). Recorded some demo songs and a cover of T-Rex Children of the revolution. But left after 3 months due to lack of time.

2015 Recorded new material and some covers together with ex bandmates from Blackrain; John Vigebo(bass) and Henrik Söderqvist(drums) and started singing in my own band.

2016 Did a guest appearance in Thailand and Florida. Started a blues band "Blylod Blues Band".

2017 Started a new party/coverband named Blyfot. Also made a long awaited reunion. The flaming duo of Andy & Blylod. We did 2 gigs!

2019 Teamed up with some musicians to form the new coverband "Too Damn Fun" and me and Erika also started an acoustic duo, Erika & Blylod.

2021 Released the song "Falling" that I wrote together with Jim Wallenborg for Nina Söderquist (at Radio Rockklassiker).

2022 Erika & Blylod changed name to DomDär2. We broke up the band TooDamnFun, and Me and Henrik and Erika restarted Blyfot together original bassplayer John Vigebo.
